Cheap & reasonably large room, a work desk, flat-screen television and ironing facilities in there. The beds were comfortable, and the location was decent and convenient. Location close to the metro and markets, like Carrefour and Monoprix. Public parking on site provided...

Appreciated this wonderful small and quiet hotel, easy to find, with courteous staff at reception desk. The rooms were fairly quiet and perfect and complete with the window in the backyard, coffee, a double bed.

The room I stayed in was quiet and lovely, with a nice set of tables in the dining area. The location was fantastic and pretty convenient, just a short 10-15 minute walk away from a public park. 🌳

Although it is far from the centre, it is 5 minutes from the Porte des Lilas metro station, where there is also a tram stop. Near the tram there is a bakery where you can buy pastries, bread and drinks for breakfast (if not at the hotel). On the corner there is a McDonalds and on the way from the hotel to the metro there is a fairly large supermarket. The reception staff are very friendly, especially the lady in the morning and one of the boys in the evening. If you speak French it's a plus, people seem to be nicer to those who make an effort to speak their language. I speak it well, so no communication problems.
room was a bit small and radiator was too big for the room. I had to turn it down to a minimum because when I arrived it looked like a sauna. solution was to turn it off every morning when I went out, so if I got cold when I arrived at night, I would turn it on on the spot and avoid dying of heat if I left it on. There was a plug that came out of the wall, other than that, there was nothing negative worth mentioning.

Five minutes from the subway. The neighborhood seemed calm and cute. It's pretty quiet at night. Although my room windows did go outside. They cleaned every day. The receptionist responded quickly. I asked for glass glasses (there were for some reason a little bit of plastic in the room) and a blanket, and I was immediately given them. The room rate includes a free safe! There's a TV. And there's also a hair dryer.
There was no fridge or electric kettle. She took the kettle with her. the lack of a fridge was upsetting, because food in France is very expensive. As other reviews have written, it was a bit cold. Although I was in mid-September, afternoon was +20. There's no air conditioning in the room, just a fan. Since the room is small and it only stirred, I put it in the corridor, to the door. It's pretty hard to figure out how to adjust the water temperature in the shower, I didn't really understand how to adjust it. Somehow intuitively in the end adjusted:). minuses I can say I suck out of my finger, I wasn't so worried about it. I'm just listing the things that can embarrass someone when choosing a hotel. on the whole, it was pretty good... I'll share some tourist advice. Since the hotel isn't downtown and you have to use the subway all the time, I recommend you download the Paris Metro app. It helps to calculate the route and operates on the same principle as the Moscow app. Without it, metro scheme is not just difficult to understand, almost impossible.

The neighborhood surrounding Hipotel Lilas Gambetta is lovely and peaceful, with convenient access to the metro. The staff is friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist with any needs or questions. The rooms may be small, but they are clean and well-maintained, with daily cleaning service. The breakfast served on the ground floor is a simple but satisfying start to the day, with delicious croissants and plenty of coffee. The price for the stay was also very reasonable, making it a great choice for budget travelers. Despite a few minor drawbacks, my overall experience at Hipotel Lilas Gambetta was positive and I would recommend it to others.

It was good value for money - clean, free wifi, close to the metro station. Staff was nice and helpful.
Rooms are really small with a door directly leading to the bathroom. Wifi didn't work on one day. Breakfast is modest but typical for France - croissant, bagetta, butter and marmalade (no meat or cheese:). Cenral heating was not working and it was quite cold during the night - I think they were just not prepared for 6 C in May.

Clean hotel with small but comfortable rooms. Small refrigerator is also included. We stayed only to spend the night in the holtel and spent the rest of time in Paris. Hotel is close to metro (taking you directly to Pompidou Center) and bike rental station. Equipped with WiFi.

The hotel is very quaint and French.
The room is very small and noisy. We were on the street side and could hear traffic all night. It is not located in a good part of town. I would not recommend it.
